Why did you choose to come at the University of Perpignan?
I chose the University of Perpignan for its dynamic international atmosphere, commitment to academic excellence, and its proactive approach to global collaboration. As Head of the International Cooperation Office, I saw great potential to strengthen ties, explore new partnerships, and develop impactful mobility initiatives in an inspiring and supportive environment.
Which are the highlights of your mobility ?
One of the most rewarding highlights was the opportunity to strengthen international partnerships and create new bridges between our universities—particularly the agreement with UPVD to include languages in the upcoming mobility call. The warm welcome, the enriching exchanges with colleagues, and the collaborative spirit truly made this experience memorable.
Which activities have you been able to accomplish during your mobility ?
As Head of the International Cooperation Office at Gabes University, I engaged in several strategic meetings aimed at enhancing academic and admnistrative collaborations. I explored new mobility opportunities with universities from Algeria, Morocco, Kazakhstan and Mexico, exchanged best practices in Erasmus+ project management, and worked closely with the UPVD team on future cooperation plans.
What are your tips and recommendations concerning your experience at the University of Perpignan ?
I highly recommend approaching this mobility with openness and initiative. The University of Perpignan offers not only a dynamic academic environment but also a truly welcoming and supportive team. It’s a great setting to exchange ideas, build meaningful partnerships, and enjoy a culturally rich experience. So, be open, proactive, and ready to collaborate—the UPVD team is incredibly warm and supportive. And don’t miss the charming campus vibes!
