Request to register to study at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia CEF/Campus France procedure


If you wish to come and study (or continue studying) at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia, you have to follow a different procedure depending on your profile and the subject that you are intending to study:


Procedures to follow to register for a licence 1


The preliminary admissions procedure is based on articles D612-11 to D612-18 of the French Education Code.

1. For prospective students domiciled outside the EU:

White form – Preliminary admission application between 15 November and 22 January prior to the University year in question: the preliminary admission procedure is for students domiciled outside the European Union who have an overseas school-leaving certificate and who wish to register for the first or second year of a licence.

In countries that have a Centre pour les Etudes en France (centre for studying in France) based at their French Embassies, students must fill in a preliminary admission application electronically via the Campus France's website: www.campusfrance.org

Note: The following countries have CEFs at their French Embassies: Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Burkina-Faso, Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Congo-Brazzaville, South Korea, Ivory Coast, US, Gabon, Guinea, India, Japan, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Mexico, Peru, Russia, Senegal, Syria, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, Vietnam.

2. For prospective students who are non-French nationals and who reside in France:

Green form – Preliminary admission application between 15 November and 22 January prior to the University year in question: the preliminary admission procedure is for students domiciled in France who have an overseas school-leaving certificate and who wish to register for the first or second year of a licence.

3. For prospective students who are nationals of non-EU countries:

For students from the following countries: Germany, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus (Greek part), Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, UK, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Swiss Confederation.

Applications should be made via the “Admission Post Bac" website: www.admission-postbac.fr


Procedures to follow to register for a Licence 2, Licence 3, Master's 1 or Master's 2


After a minimum of one, two or three years of higher education, and depending on the studies that you have already completed and / or the qualifications that you have obtained, you may request admission into the 2nd or 3rd year of a licence or into the 1st or 2nd year of a master's.

Candidates must submit their applications online by following the CEF/Campus France procedure.

  • Only completed applications that have been approved by Campus France will be electronically transferred to the universities.
  • Applications can only be approved after interviews with Campus France advisers.

Checking students' levels of French
The TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français or French language test) is compulsory for admission onto Licence 2, Licence 3, Master’s 1 or Master’s 2 programmes. More information about the TCF

The following countries have Campus France agencies:

For residents of Syria

Because of current events, the Campus France agency is closed.
The CEF procedure has therefore been temporarily suspended.

Applicants from this country may request a pre-registration by submitting a white form (in paper format) to their first choice university without going via the French embassy.

Applicants who need to have their language proficiency levels determined should contact the embassies in the following countries to register for a TCF examination: Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey.
