The International Dimension

 The University of Perpignan maintains proudly its international dimension as a European centre of higher education. It promotes a policy of international exchange together with the widening of its research activities, in cooperation with European programmes, integrated projects, and networks of excellence.

 Of the 10,600 students enrolled in the UPVD, more than 30% are from abroad, coming from more than 110 different countries. Each year the UPVD welcomes students, researchers, teachers, and administrative staff for study, teaching, training or research for periods of from one to several months.

 The university offers all its students and staff the possibility of participating in major international programmes and promotes the development of specific international inter-university projects. These actions result in “education-research” partnerships which promote student exchange and mobility, thus promoting the highest standards of  educational excellence.
